“Your body is your temple.” This mantra has resonated with me since my youth. From the time I was a child athlete (ice hockey was my sport) to the present day, exercise and fitness has been ingrained as part of my daily life. I wholeheartedly believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and spirit. Massage is an integral component to achieving a healthy body as it encourages the body to self heal (be it from the daily grind of the work week or from the physical exertion of being a weekend warrior). A holistic approach to health care is a major part of my background. Instead of popping a pill, we will address the root of your discomfort and heal it together. I received formal massage training at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), earning an Associate of Occupational Studies degree. My experience includes an internship at the Joffrey Ballet School and outreach events, such as the 9/11 Tunnel to Towers race. My specialties are sports, deep tissue, trigger point, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Thai massage.
